Dolpo Trekking
Dolpo is one of the special region and need a permit by the nepal government. This region lies on the northern part of mid-western nepal. It is one of the highest occupy land in Nepal, and high passes of great Dhaulagiri and kali gandaki gorge and covered a 15% of total land in Nepal. And also, it is the part of Shey phoksundo lake.
They have their own culture, religion and lifestyles. The remote place of Nepal but decorative by the nature. Dolpo is the golden rush of medical strangeness of Yarsagumba. It is the adventure and the passionate trekkers who want to enter the heaven of the earth. Journey start from the Dunai(2850m/ 9348ft) to Phoksundo lake near Ringmo. Dolpo is geographically part of Tibetan plateau. This region is also known as the rain shadow region because it received precipitation in the monsoon. Elevation of dolpo region lies in the altitude of 1650m to 5136m above the sea level.
Due to the jarring environment least people were living in this region. Around five thousand of people were lived in this Dolpo region and also consider as the settlement of the higher elevation. Beautiful landscape with the rain shadow makes the journey more marvellous. Visiting Dolpo region be the lifetime experience due to the majestic view of the nature following with the Shey Phoksundo lake. In conclusion Nepal is the piece of heaven and people are the kindest.
