Parsa Wildlife Reserve
Parsa Wildlife Reserve is protected in the inner part of the Terai. reservation is spread over Chitwan, Makwanpur, Parsa and Bara which offers the best opportunity to experience the unique nature, geographical and culture of plain Terai.
Parsa Wildlife Reserve is the largest wildlife reserve of Nepal which covers about 627.4 sq km of land area. Parsa wildlife is perfect for the varieties of birds and animal and also, it is covered by the tropical Sal forest. It takes about 8-hour drive from Kathmandu to the reserve headquarter Adhabar whereas air flight takes about 15 minutes to fly up to Simra in Bara district.
