Namche Bazaar Trek
The Shortest Trek in the Everest Region
Is time a problem? Still, want to see Mt. Everest? Want to do a little trekking? Then the Namche Bazaar Trek is the right one for you.
This is a short, five-day trek that will bring you into the heart of the Everest region. Namche Bazaar is the district city, but it is only accessible by foot traffic. It offers an excellent view of Mt. Everest with a minimum amount of trekking.
The trail is moderate, and this is an ideal trek for beginners. It is high altitude (elev. 3,440 m/11,286 ft.), yet not so high as to require acclimatization.
Accommodations are very good on this trail, and if you desire, you can also choose to pay extra for first class accommodations in Namche Bazaar.
This is a wonderful way to see Mt. Everest and to enjoy the hospitality of the Sherpa people in a very short period of time.
