Bardia National Park
Bardia National Park Bardia National Park is one of the largest parks in the lowland Terai covering an area of 968 sq km is located in the western part of Nepal. The park is the homeplace of the different endangered animals like tiger, wild elephant, one-horned rhino, Royal Bengal, different kinds of water animals like gharial, crocodile, marsh, mugger and large dolphin, etc are found in this park. And they are the habitat and glory of this place.
Similarly, 30 different mammals, 400 species of birds and several species of reptiles can be found in this park. The park is very rich in biodiversity. The major vegetation and forest types are wooded grasslands and the riverine forest. There were a daily flight and buses from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj. And from Nepalgunj bus service is available to the park during the dry season.
